How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I am a retail hardware store owner for over 35 years. Began racing as a pasttime. Karting became a hobby that got 'out of hand' with our operating a 4000 sq ft shop in Minneapolis.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Experience. We have raced numerous series at numerous track locations.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One. Not at this time, we are busy enough.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are in Minneapolis on East lake street, mid way between Hiawatha and the river. From the north follow 35w south to the Hiawatha exit. Take the Lake st exit and go east approx 1.5 miles. From the east exit hwy 94 at the Cretin exit. Go south approx 1 mile to Marshall ave, go west. Cross the river and go approx 1 mile on Lake street. We are on the south side of the street across from White CAstle.
What type of payments do you accept?
Viza, MC, Discover, Amex and of course cash.
Which areas do you service?
Minnesota, Wisc, the Dakotas. Customers have come from as far as Mexico City, MX
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Riverlake Racing is a division of Riverlake Hardware Inc. I,Mark Enderlein run the operations of the race shop.
What are your hours of operation?
Typically 9-5 M-F, Sat 9-6. Unless we are at the track racing or testing. Call first please.
